For students
No — you can try questions for free without creating an account. Simply visit the site and start practising straight away. Subscribing gives you access to grade prediction, targeted revision, performance analysis and more.
The numbered buttons across the top represent approximate GCSE grade levels. Click on a grade to see the topics available, then select a topic to start practising. Each question is generated fresh so you never run out of practice.
Once you have built up a profile of answers across multiple topics, the app uses machine learning to predict your overall GCSE grade based on the performance of previous students. It is extremely accurate and gives you a clear picture of where you stand — and where to focus your revision.
Each topic is mapped to a GCSE grade level based on real exam data — specifically the grade distributions per topic across Edexcel papers from 2017 to 2025. This tells you how demanding each topic is relative to the grade boundaries, not just whether you got the answer right.
Targeted revision builds you a personalised session of questions based on the topics most likely to appear in your grade zone. It is built from analysis of every Higher paper from 2017 to 2025 — so every session focuses on what the data says matters most for your target grade.
Not necessarily. There are a number of factors that affect exam performance on the day, and national grade boundaries shift each year depending on how students perform across the country. The prediction is a strong indicator of where you are right now — use it to guide your revision, not as a guaranteed outcome.
